For me, that’s what creativity is - playing with found objects, reconstructing things that already exist, transforming ideas or stories I already know. I need to collect things like this in a jar and open it to look at them when I'm floundering.

(only probably without the actual workings inside, but something that captured light and good stuff and made you feel warm and toasty when you opened it. Maybe a book would be better...but actually, the jar thing would be cool because you could just reach in and pick out a random thought. A book's so much more linear.)
